Happy Re-Birthday To Me!

I essentially became Catie a year ago today!

My black thigh-length boots arrived in the post and I posted my first photos to Instagram on May 2nd, 2019…

I didn’t give myself the name Catie on that day, that happened on the 3rd, but essentially that day was the day I was reborn, and I haven’t stopped since (apart from the Coronavirus lockdown)!

I had set myself a series of goals to achieve by this date, such as working out basic makeup, getting contact lenses, going out dressed somewhere, but those all went out the window when I was confined to barracks with my family and I’ve had to put my other life on hold.

I’m so pleased with how far I’ve come in the last year, how many new friends I’ve made and how much support I’ve received from friends old and new. Thank you all for the encouragement and love and sensible talk when I’ve been silly and a smidge despondent…

So, happy re-birthday to me and here’s to many more!
