“Is that what you think a woman looks like?”

So there I was, posting my silly little outfit pictures on Threads and I got this comment from a woman: “Is that what you think a woman looks like? and, more than anything else, it baffled me…

I replied, “No, I think it’s what look like!” and then blocked her, but I’m still thinking about it, because I couldn’t tell you what a woman looks like, not in any definable way, because all women look different…

Miriam Margolyes? Woman. Naomi Campbell? Woman. Fatima Whitbread? Woman. Gwendoline Christie? Munroe Bergdorf? Ellie Robinson? All are women and all look different to each other, so what was her point? Aside from being bigoted and attempting to be transphobic? I should have asked her what she thinks a woman looks like!

And, if she was trying to say that I don’t look like a woman, that’s fine, because I’m not particularly trying to look like one, I’m just being me as hard as I can…
