Well, goodbye 2021, you were… a year that we lived through…
Can’t say it’s been all bad though, from my point of view. I finally got to start living my life how I want, wearing what I want and being the person I want to be.
It’s not been easy though. Things aren’t perfect, but I’m hoping with time they will get better. I am hugely grateful to everyone that has supported me though the last year, even if that’s just by giving me a “like” on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, it all helps with my confidence and to not become all anxious about my “journey”.
So where next? Who knows? I’m just going to try to be me, as hard as I can! I sometimes feel that I’m too… big(?) for some people, (stop tittering at the back there…) but that’s their problem, not mine. I can’t control how others feel about me. I may be the elephant in the room, and you may be uncomfortable discussing my elephantitude, but at least you could say you like the way I’ve painted my tusks…
I’m not one for making resolutions, but I do want to be more creative in the next year, whether that’s in art, writing, being a fashionista or all three! I just need to find the discipline to do it, and not be distracted by social media all day!
